Even Famous People Need Companies Buying Houses For Cash When They Want Somebody To “buy My House Quickly”
Recently the renowned British News paper Columnist and Radio & TV correspondent, Libby Purves, decided that she wanted to dispose of a pied a terre in London which she and her family had had for a few years, but were no longer using often enough to justify the trouble of its upkeep.
With a hectic working schedule, Libby needed to dispose of of the house with the minimum of commotion and time consumption.
Over the period of several months, she tried in vain to attract a serious purchaser who had the means and the real drive to follow through the transaction and conclude a purchase of the house. maybe it’s fair to say that Libby may have suffered somewhat from being a publicly known figure, and perhaps attracted viewers who were just interested to see a famous person’s house.
The 1st potential purchaser could not raise or borrow the £5,000 deposit, the second one suddenly inherited enough money to buy something much grander for cash, another potential purchaser wanted to buy the house as a buy to let opportunity, and laboured under the delusion that he would be able to raise a 100% mortgage on the house.
After weeks of this turning into months of raised & subsequently dashed hopes, Libby suddenly remembered reading about Fast House Buyers , and decided to contact one, and dare them to live up to their claims and “Buy my House Quickly”. These Fast House Buyers definitely moved quite quickly, and could have fairly easily completed the purchase within the week that they advertise. Unfortunately, there were a few snags relating to the leasehold of the house, and the freeholder proved to be very hard to find. These caused a few delays which held up the transaction, but none of them were attributable to the Quick Home Buying Company’s side of things.
The Quick Home Buying Company paid libby 85% of the house value, and in spite of all the frustrating delays caused by the leasehold problems, and their exacerbation by the elusiveness of the Freeholder, not once did the Fast House Buyers talk about backing out of the deal.
As for the 15%, or as Libby herself put it the “few thousand quid” discount that she had to give in order to sell to any of the Companies buying Houses for Cash; it was after all just an imaginary house bounce which was proving very difficult, or just about impossible to realise. Using one of the Fast House Buyers or Cash House buyers was well worth it to Libby, to bring to an end a very frustrating, time consuming and seemingly endless problem.
